Making the External Stems...


I ripped about a dozen strips of Ash a hair under 1/8th inch thick to make the external stem.

Here I'm just testing the clamping sequence. I will laminate the stem without actually attaching it to the boat, so I can do most of the shaping on the bench. I'll then epoxy it to the boat and complete the shaping.
